About Marc
I grew up in North Delta, BC and spent the first 20 years of my life here. After graduating from North Delta Senior Secondary in 1992 I proceeded to attend Kwantlen College where I received my Associates Degree in Criminology. At that point my life took a left turn and sent me on a wild ride to Southern California. I attended Santa Barbara City College for 2 years where I received my Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems. I also played on the S.B.C.C. Baseball team and was a Scholar Athlete and appointed to the Dean’s Honor Roll for all four semesters. From there I transferred to Westmont College where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business. After graduation I worked in Santa Barbara for several years in the financial services and brokerage industry before returning to school at San Diego State University where I received my MBA with focuses in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. I was also a member of the S.D.S.U. Aztec hockey team.
I have a keen interest in learning about business, networking, innovation, sales and politics. I also live, learn and mutter about life. I plan on sharing a bit of all of it.
Since returning to B.C. in 2004 I have worked in the satellite communications field and am currently working in the building materials industry with BuildDirect.com.
I enjoy golfing, camping, fishing, walking my dog, riding my motorcycle, working on my old van, spending time at my cabin, and enjoying the company of my family and friends.
