Recap: Week 4 Body For Life

Written By: Marc McPherson on February 20, 2011 No Comment

Here we are again. Another week of Body For Life down, 8 more to go. Today, however, is a bit of a milestone. Here we find ourselves at the one month mark. Sounds so much shorter to say 1 month down and 2 more to go than 4 weeks down and 8 more to go. But I digress.

Unfortunately, no further weight loss this week. No gain, but no loss either. I chalk it up to an overly indulgent free day which I will be remedying. The thing with free day is I eat too much and then feel like total crap. Not mentally, just physically. I am thinking what I need to do is not indulge to my fullest capacities, but try and keep the more frequent small meals going, but inserting a few of my past week’s cravings into it. Sort of a hybrid day. Also, while I didn’t lose any weight this week, I think my body composition continues to change significantly. I can look and see drastic changes from man boobs and arm sags, to some semblance of muscle tone. That in itself is as big of a win as dropping a pound or two.

So without further ado, here are this week’s stats, and as promised, my every other week pictures. I will include each previous set of pictures(as much as I don’t want to keep posting Week 0) when I do this so we can see a frame of reference.

  • Starting weight week 0: 241 lbs
  • Starting weight week 2: 227
  • Ending weight: 227 lbs
  • Days at the gym: 6
  • Unapproved Meals (free day excluded): 1 (I indulged in an unauthorized bag of chips. They weren’t as good as I hoped. Lesson learned)
