Recap Week 8: Body For Life
Here we are again, another two weeks down and a photo update for those who care to see them. Week 8 was a bit strange. It came after a week that was pretty unsuccessful, and to cap it off I ended up down for the count with that cold that is going around so after Monday, I didn’t make it to the gym. Yes, feeling much better now, thanks for asking. Actually looking forward to getting back to the gym tomorrow and getting this ship sailing full steam ahead again.
- Starting weight week 0: 241 lbs
- Starting weight week 2: 221 lbs
- Ending weight: 215 lbs
- Days at the gym: 1
- Unapproved Meals (free day excluded): 0

Day 56
And many of you already saw this next picture, but I thought it was pretty cool and did a great job of showing progress from start through the end of two months. One month left on the challenge I guess, but alas, my stint with Body For Life won’t be ending then. The goal is under 200 lbs and I am not stopping until I am there. Come to think of it, I doubt I am stopping then either. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to effect such changes in lifestyle only to revert back to shit. Although, I may mix in a few more grilled cheese sammiches now and again!

Quite an array of undies you have there, Marc!!! Good for you, losing all that weight!! I have lost a ton in this last year and it feels great!! It’s okay to have a grilled cheese, there are way to make it less caloric and they are actually really good. Keep up the good work, my boy and again congrats on your journey!! oxox
hi Marc,
this is an excellent site, and a huge inspiration for me on my own body for life journey. Would love to hear an update for weeks 9-12 and how you ended up on the challenge…or am I just missing something obvious and it is clearly posted on your site somewhere?
Chris
Hi Chris,
Glad you enjoyed it and its helping you along your way. Unfortunately, life got busy for the last few weeks and I didn’t get a chance to update or take pictures again. On the plus side, however, I can say, that progress continued and the final weight at the end of the challenge was 204.
Good luck with your own progress. It is a solid program.
Marc
